YourSix: Why We Invested
The Vocap team is thrilled to announce the latest addition to our portfolio, YourSix, which provides a modern, device-to-cloud software operating system for physical security. Vocap led YourSix’s Series A round of $10.5M, which will be used to amplify its go-to-market efforts and further the team’s vision for its serverless, unified commercial physical security and intelligence system (YourSix OS, or “Y6OS”).
The physical security sector has seen a rapid transformation in recent years. Driven by increasing regulation, litigation, and public scrutiny surrounding safety, commercial property operators are updating their systems at a high rate (cloud adoption is growing at approx. 30% CAGR through 2030). Meanwhile, physical security hardware has seen a step-function improvement in performance, AI-driven capabilities, and cost efficiency. This has created the ideal environment for YourSix’s state-of-the-art operating system, which receives data feeds directly from the device – even in low bandwidth situations – with low latency and without an onsite server. This significantly enhances scalability across multiple sites, lowers the total cost of ownership, and removes maintenance headaches (onsite servers are the most common component to break).
Currently, commercial properties must adopt a patchwork of software solutions covering video management, access control, intercom, sensors and corresponding analytics. YourSix consolidates all of these pieces and becomes the single pane of glass for IT and security teams to manage and monitor all devices across multiple sites.
